  • How do your self-drive tours work?

We offer guided self-drive tours where you drive behind a guide in your own modified jeep. Depending on the size of your group, we may have two guide vehicles: one leading the tour and another following at the rear. Our guides will teach you how to navigate the highlands and drive safely on glaciers.

  • Are we guaranteed to see the Northern Lights on your tours?

The Northern Lights season runs from September to mid-April. While we choose locations and times to maximize your chances of seeing this natural phenomenon, sightings cannot be guaranteed.

  • Can I see an active volcano?

Like the Northern Lights, volcanic activity is a natural occurrence, and we cannot guarantee specific sightings as they are ultimately beyond our control.

  • Does the weather affect the tours? What safety measures are in place?

Iceland's weather can be unpredictable. Our team continuously monitors conditions, and our guides are trained to handle various situations. If the weather is deemed too severe, we can adjust the itinerary or cancel the tour, in which case you will receive a full refund.

  • Should I disclose any medical conditions?

Yes, for safety reasons, we need to know about any underlying medical conditions. You can disclose this when booking, and our guides will check again upon pick-up. You can choose to share this information privately, and we will keep it confidential, disclosing it only to medical professionals in emergencies.

  • Is there an age limit for your tours?

For safety reasons, our tours are suitable for participants aged 8 years and older.

  • Are there any physical requirements for your tours?

Participants should be able to comfortably get in and out of the jeeps. Some tour stops may involve short hikes or walking on uneven terrain, so we recommend being in good physical condition to fully enjoy the experience. If you have any concerns, please reach out to us!

  • Do we have any wild animals in Iceland, like bears or wolves?

Iceland does not have bears or wolves. However, you may spot wildlife such as arctic foxes, reindeer, and mink.

  • Can I drive after having 1-2 drinks?

No, driving under the influence is strictly prohibited. If we suspect that you are drinking while driving, the tour will be stopped immediately, and you will not be eligible for a refund.

  • I’ve done all the tours on your website. Do you offer anything else?

Absolutely! We are dedicated to making your experience memorable. If you have specific locations in mind, let us know, and we can customize a tour for you. If you're unsure, email us for suggestions!

  • When is the best time to travel to Iceland?

It depends on your interests! Winter offers the Northern Lights and ice caves, while summer boasts 24-hour sunlight. There’s never a bad time to visit Iceland!

  • How much can I customize my tour itinerary?

Feel free to email us for modifications to your tour. If you've already booked, provide your booking reference, and we’ll make the changes. If you haven’t booked yet, we’re happy to assist you!
