Booking Process

These booking conditions govern all bookings with Jeep Experience Iceland. Any booking or order placed by you, whether through our website or otherwise, shall be considered an offer to purchase the relevant package or travel arrangements, subject to these conditions. A contract between you and Jeep Experience Iceland will only come into existence upon our acceptance of your booking and receipt of the first confirmation deposit. The person making the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all party members and is responsible for all payments due. Booking services with Jeep Experience Iceland are only available to clients 18 years of age or older. By submitting a booking, you confirm your compliance with these terms.

General Terms of Payment

Payments for services booked directly at jeep-experience.is can be made via major credit cards or electronic bank transfer. A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total price is required at the time of booking (30% for special packages) as confirmation of your requested service. The remaining balance (80%) must be received by Jeep Experience Iceland at least 4 weeks prior to your arrival date. Failure to make timely payment may result in cancellation of your booking.

Validity of Prices

All prices quoted by Jeep Experience Iceland are in Icelandic Króna (ISK). For current exchange rates, please refer to our National Bank’s website. We are not responsible for currency fluctuations, government taxes, or other cost increases beyond our control. We reserve the right to notify you of price increases with at least eight weeks' notice. Once the final invoice is issued, the price is guaranteed against surcharges, unless due to government regulations or currency changes.

Cancellation

All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email or letter.

Standard Charges for Cancellation & Changes

Travel Documents and Vouchers Delivery

Travel documents and vouchers will be delivered electronically.

Liability and Force Majeure

Jeep Experience Iceland disclaims responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, injury, sickness, or schedule change due to causes beyond our control, including weather, strikes, or pandemics. We cannot be held liable for the actions of third parties, including agents, hotels, or airlines. We reserve the right to alter routes, itineraries, or departure times as necessary for your safety. Passengers are responsible for any additional costs incurred due to changes in flights. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen events.

If you are dissatisfied with your tour, please contact us as soon as possible. If you cannot do so immediately, you must inform us in writing within 7 days of your return to preserve your right to compensation.

Working with Nature

At Jeep Experience Iceland, we are dedicated to showcasing our country’s beautiful scenery. It is prohibited by law to drive off designated roads in Iceland, and we respect all natural areas we visit. Please dispose of trash responsibly in designated bins or bags provided in vehicles.

VAT

VAT is included in all quoted prices.

Self-Drive Tours

For self-drive tours, please note the following:

• Age Restrictions: Drivers must be at least 25 years old and hold a valid driving license for at least 3 years.
• Driving License: All drivers must present a valid driving license. If your license is not in Roman script (e.g., Arabic, Greek), an International Driving Permit (IDP) is required. A credit card guarantee is necessary at pick-up.

When retrieving the vehicle, you will sign a contract with us. Please read the agreement thoroughly before signing.

Applicable Law

By using Jeep Experience Iceland services, you agree that this agreement shall be governed by the laws of Iceland.
